Before you plug the thermostat in, put the thermostat probe in the water. Plug in whatever
accessory you have (up to 1000 watts). If you have more than one accessory, you can use
a plug strip. Set the temperature using the dial. Depending on the size of your aquarium,
it could take awhile to heat up to the desired temperature.
